What is Speech and Language Therapy?
Speech and Language Therapy focuses on the management of communication difficulties with others. This can involve articulation of speech sounds, attention and listening skills, voice disorders, comprehension difficulties, difficulties with expressing oneself and interacting and socialising with others. Speech and Language Therapists can work with children and adults who have all kinds of communication difficulties that are preventing them from connecting with others and impacting on their health and well-being.
